garrett2, yep used.. it did run 5.88 @ 1/8 as is, is it a easy runner , not a winner ( yet ) it needs a second super G for the 1/4, and there is room for more power. ( compression can put up a few notches ) but for ore first year in the topgas series , and for easyridernl and me to get used to the bike the first few races it stays like this. first get some consistancy with the bike, and figure out the clutch settings |

Hi alex, as you perhaps don't know we had only one race this year.. easy got ill and mistout almost the full seison and more important track time with the new engine setup , racing in drachten is not posseble at the moment. so we did some 1/8 mile runs in denmark and sweden late in the seison with the xb but they where testruns..getting used to the lower inertia in the engine, it is a bitch to lanch fast, carb setup still needs some fine tuning, i'm confinced that piet ( red S1 and the new xb rider ) is preped and eager to put the bike in the 9 seconds. a new swing arm is in construction as we speak.. gr, bud |

Dris, I offered help once but You decided to stay with Your engine builder (for reasons that I do understand). I could probably help but Iīm not really interested in seeing my technology ending on Bike Hospitalīs work bench (which I hope You understand). And I donīt see a way how to avoid that (beside me bringing an engine to every race for You and taking it with me after the race which seems to be quite complicated). How do You think I could help? Regards Alex |
