Whilst washing my Uly for the Nth time; specifically the right side of the front wheel, my middle finger got sliced pretty good by the inner edge of the front disk. Had to take a break for a little first aid. I think I'll take some emery paper and break that edge a little... That cut, and my low beam headlamp burning out at 18K miles, are the only negatives about the Ulysses so far. Mrs_Greg would add the lack of the Dr's attention to honeydews on the weekends. |

I noticed that before it had a chance to get me. Feels like the sharp edge of a metal part that has just been machined. Makes a nice clean cut. It'll hurt later. |

Mrs_Greg would add the lack of the Dr's attention to honeydews on the weekends. Amazing, the same thing has happened at our house as well!

Me too! I now have to schedule things like mowing, time with the kids(when they won't ride with me), fixing things around the house, and the boat...the poor neglected boat. |

Must be why the new H.D.'s have rotors w/rounded edges. |

I've sliced into my thumb and then index finger so far when cleaning the rim (in between the disc rotor). Thought about looking into that before I do it again. |

Yep, that rotor edge is sharp. Its one more excuse for not having to clean my front rim. Tim |

I let the 5 year old clean the rims. Her fingers, hands and arms fit in there no problem, she does a good job of cleaning and she loves to help wash the filthy pig when I actually do it. I'll look into knocking the edge off when she decides she doesn't want to help anymore and I have to do it. |

Joel, give some thought to what you've just posted. Some would think you have no regard for the risk a sharp rim poses to your daughter. I don't think so. |
