Hauled my '05 XB12S 300 miles to ride. Started to show sound to friend, shut off, got dressed, started and rode to end of drive. Rear cylinder dropped out. Rode 2 miles on front cylinder hoping I'd just fouled a plug. Then ignition fuse blew. Long story short; it broke two new coils in half, blew a bunch of fuses and now I'm at a loss.
Why would a cylinder quit and a coil break? Thing only has 3000 miles! I should have hauled my Vstrom up- at least then I could have ridden!

Update; found ECM wired had rubbed on shock reservoir. Moved, shielded, and replaced coil. All is fine now.
