Up for sale is a folding aluminum rocket trailer that I purchased here on the board a few months back. $425 O.B.O. This is great for any bike as it extends to whatever length you need. All of the lights work and it also comes with an extra set of lights. I have replaced the aluminum hinge in the rear due to the Aluminum one showing stress. There are also a few stress cracks in the fenders, but I have contacted Rocket trailers and it sounds as if they are going to replace them with their new plastic ones. This is a very nice trailer for those that do not tow alot, or tow with a small car. I have towed my X1 a few thousand miles with a 4 cyl. Cavalier with no problems. TRAILER IS LOCATED IN ST. LOUIS AREA, BUT CAN BE DELIVERED TO NW ILLINOIS FOR NO COST. Here are a few pics of it folded and extended.

Is this for one bike only or can it be changed for two? Hard Corps |

It was designed for only one bike, but it does extend very long. You may be able to get two shorter bikes on there, but I have not tried. I think with some simple fabbing and a good alum. welder, you could make it a dual bike hauler. |

Seth, I'd love to bid on your trailer but I'm in Utah. What are you talking about in your ad regarding delivery? You thinking freight shipping or somethng else? -Mike |

Shipping would have to be freight if I just pulled the pins out, but The rear section, which is the only real large section can be disassembled. So, it could go ups in multiple boxes. I am offering to deliver the trailer, but in your case there is no way it is possible considering the distance. (although I am due for a vacation) I know it will easily fit on one pallet for frieght, that may be the easiest and cheapest when it is all said and done. |
