I to will be giving my notice on Monday...Going to work for CAPCO STEEL in providence or will be at BERLIN STEEL right down the street from my present employer in WEBSTER.
Sent resume out on Thursday, went for interview on Monday(They called Friday) and got hired from CAPCO if I choose to take it and have interview w/ BERLIN STEEL tomorrow, will make a choice this weekend as to who I will work for.
When we gettin together for some end of the season Hooligan fun? We need to ALL meet and ride at least once more before the snow arives!
Damnut.......I still have that "key" for you when you are ready, I'll give it to ya when we meet next.
Tryin' to gather some cash fur me new tires..Also gettin the "No-Mar" bar for easy tire changes so any of us can change out the skins on the ride w/o the high price of the shops!

Yea he did. I had to go to my bank and cancell my card. They kicked the cash back to my account on the second charge. He had no authorization and I didn't sign for it.

Well I have been interviewing for a couple weeks now and have just accepted a position at Berlin Steel.(company I wanted to work for)
I have been pushing for this job. Got my interview yesterday after work and was just hired today. start in 2 weeks!
I AM PUMPED!! Killer bennifits and great people to work for! I also got the other drafter in with them..we are both leaving together..should be interesting to see there reaction. we are the only 2 drafters here.
I gotta go put my notice in....lets see how this goes.... |

These guys been stringing me along now for a couple months. Promises,Promises, but nothing has changed so I told them(many times now) that I am out of here. Told me they would hire someone for me to train and then I could move on to better things in the company.
They have not interviewed no-one. There problem now I say. I had the opertunity to help my fellow employee and make more money also. So I passed the info on him to them and they said "we will take you both".
Still holding out on telling them. Past employees have been fired once notice was given. The last guy came back from lunch to find his stuff packed waiting at the door. Not a very good way to do buisiness I say, but not my company either. |

I thought of doing that, But due to the fact BOTH of us are leaving, they would be hard pressed to fire both of us AND get someone in here to do there work.
I don't care either way personally, I could use the time off and catch up on some house maintenance.
I will think about it tonight and make my decision after speaking w/ my wife. |

Sounds like a pretty big man to give notice despite a history of "firing".Do what's right.Me...i NEED every paycheck to meet my bills and couldn't take "that" chance.Uhh,i think they say "good on you". |

I am interested but I won't be taking the bike apart till the first snow fall. After that I would have a bunch to get done....like as much as I can pull off the xb. I would like my forks done also...do they strip old anodizing off it for you? I surely don't want to tackle that job....When are you doing this Jim?
Just ordered The "NO-MAR BAR" and should get it in next week.
Also Bidding on a new Corsa III tire that ends tomorrow morning so should have a tire by next weekend also. Went with a 190-50-17 this time.
The Chain conversion from Saintly will get ordered this week also. More stuff to anodize..Jeez it never ends! |

I'm a bit Chicken with me Chicken-Strip Tires to do much ridding. My mind says F'it RIDE! But me Gut tells me NOOOooooo...BAaad!!! Should be A-O-K for next weekend if all goes well. When ya wishing ta meet? Sat/Sun?

Was going to do my stuff next week but the guy who does the anodizing told me that I am better off to powder coat what I want done. Didn't seen to me like he wanted my business.
Eric........ for the forks your better off powder coating them like I did. much less hassle.
Gregg....... Can you spare a couple of those aluminum shifter/brake posts that you had made? I think you offered me a couple and I need something to replace what I lost from that ride to HV. |
