Well it looks like it was a Buell vs. Ducati slugfest in the GST class with Buells claiming 2nd 4th and 5th place. Our second place finisher placed 21st overall out of 34 competitors (beating a SV1000s and a 749 in the SST class). Great job Buell. On the other hand, results do not support MOTO-ST's equipment classification. If you look at the results, 7 out of 14 of the competitors in the ST class placed higher overall then the 2nd place GST class rider. This class was dominated by SV650s with a couple of Kawasaki 650s thrown in. What do you think lead to the GST class having placed so low in the overall results? http://www.moto-st.com/Results/Session.asp?file=../CONTENT/HTML/Results/Sessions/2006_DaytonaR.htm (Message edited by eboos on October 21, 2006) |

Regardless of class, some teams have better setups and organization for pit stops. A lot of time can be gained or lost in the pits, so sometimes equipment class doesn't matter so much. Be interesting to see the full time sheets to see actual pit lap times for the different teams. |

Congrats Jamesgang Racing! I was disturbed when RRW's listing showed 20 bikes and there were no Buells listed. I hope to hear the blow by blow from you guys that were there. Congrats to the other Buell teams too. Racing is not an easy business and this one looked to be fairly brutal. Wish I could have been there. |

Good job Paul, Greg and Jon. And to the crew. Ya know they're the heart and soul. When are we all getting together for the end of the year bash? I want to hear all about it. Congrats to Tom as well for his CCS finishes. Man I wish I could have been there with you guys! |
