Im just curious what the guys with XB9 bikes get at the dragstrip. Iam planning on my first Buell purchase this winter and am wondering what the seat of the pants feeling is like between the 9 and 12. |

Thanks Lucas! I notice on the Pingel site they have different lengths struts. How do you know what length to use? and do you have any pics of the straps in front, just want to see what they look like on and how they work. Thanks |

Ok, I ordered a strut with pingel, tell them you need the strut that comes with the wheelie bar. It puts it as low as you can go. The strap you can get from any import bike shop. I used the biggest all thread shaft with locknuts and washers, I went through the front axle and over the neck part of the frame. I only use for track nothing else. I road on the street with the strut and IT SUCKS on the road. You will have to do something about a kickstand or bike stand |

Thanks Lucas! Do you have a wheelie bar? Yea Tom, I really should get another bike for the track. If Coolice would only let me use his 9R. (Dreammmmmm) (cough cough) I guess I'll have to look for a race bike like you are. hehe (Message edited by Fiery_xb on November 20, 2006) |

No I choose not to run a wheelie bar. I rather run without on this bike. I have a few picture for you to look at, let me know if you need anything

Lucas70374 Watch out for the fuellpump (it is possible that will hit your rear oil tank/swingarm) (Message edited by Easyrider on January 06, 2007) |

easyrider thanks for the advice but its has a good bit of room there. Not enough to work on the fuel pump but enough not to hit the swingarm |
