So who wants to do a "Talemina Drive" ride next weekend? Which day works better...Saturday or Sunday? |

DTX I might be down for Talimena this weekend, depending on getting my bike back together. Got a flat yesterday out on a group ride and have some Pilot Powers coming, along with fixing my leaking primary case (new primary and clutch covers replaced under warranty). If the bike is road-worthy by this weekend I'm game. |

Reminder: This Tuesday the 17th is already the 3rd Tuesday of the month. We have a meeting! We didn't have enough people at the last meeting to decide on a name for the club so lets try to accomplish that at this one. Also, to be an official BRAG club we need to have 4 officer positions filled. They are a Director, Assistant Director, Secretary, and Treasurer. Let me know if you are planning on coming. Drake |

DTX, I have now been told that you are a Buell fraud and a sell-out, and are wanting to sell the CityX for a super sport since they are more "track oriented". Am I going to have to come to Tulsa and knock some sense back into you? Seriously tho, give me some time and I'll b up there on the track with you. We can't pass in the straights but when can pass them in the outside in turns giving them the Rossi bird on the way by. I just won a power commander on eBay and I'm going to have K&N up there do a dyno tune for me. I hate the race ecm and hoping this might be an improvement. |

Chase, Yes, I am selling the City X, but I am looking for a Firebolt for the track. (Whew!) I would never sell out like that! |

DTX.. I plan on being at the meeting. I have the new tires on now, (Pilot Powers) man that has to be the best upgrade for the money a guy can make. Sorry I couldn't make the Talemina ride, those stock 208,s were wore to the nub. If the weathers good I'll ride the Bolt and let ya take it for a spin. Give me your weight and I'll set up the suspension.(Don't want you going to the dark side on a super sport, as rumor has it) Do you think Route 66 HD could handle the 07 air box flash? I would be glad to come early and pay for it.....B.B. |

Brian, Yeah, it is surprising how much better a bike feels with some good shoes on it. Man, I do appreciate the ride offer, but you don't have to redo your suspension setup for me! I would contact Paul in the service department for the answer to your question. By switching air boxes, I don't think you have to do anything to the ECM. The phone number for Route 66 is 918.622.1340 See you all on Tuesday. Drake |

Are you wanting a 12? 'Cause you could just put the Crossroads and higher footpegs on your Lightning and have almost the same riding position. I am hurrying try to get my bike back together to be up there next Tuesday. If not then I'll just drive my truck. |

Thanks to everybody that showed up tonight. (Mike, Kal, Brian, Chase and myself). The Tulsa locals need to start having a better showing...the out of towners are about to outnumber us! I think we are getting closer to deciding on a club name. "Okie Thunder Club" was one of the favorites mentioned tonight. Kal- can you post up the other good ones?

Route 66 had a nice selection of Buells. I think Buell got the colors RIGHT for the 2007's. That Black and Red Firebolt was sweet!

Hey, let me know about the next club meeting, I would like to attend! As for a wrecked or salvaged Buell, I have a rebuilt XB12R (pictured below) and know of another salvaged one. What about a name like "Storm Front" that would tie to names Lightning, Thunderstorm, or go towards a Tornado Alley.... By the way, here I am at the other type of racing, this is at the Buell/Sportster Shoot Out at Tulsa Raceway Park. I took home Third Place. Hope for a bigger turnout for the next one!!! |
