ok, i have two expensive cameras (canon 1D & 20D) lots of L series lenses and a good working knowledge of photoshop but i'll be damned if i can figure out how to post a picture here. here is a link to my pbase site where you can see a pic of my blast with the new tires & custom lettering. if anyone can PLEASE explain to me how to post the pic instead of inserting the link i sure would appreciate it. on most photography sites you just add .jpg to the end of the link and the pic is then inserted into your post but it does not seem to work here. thanks George PS: if anyone is in the Westchester/Rockland/Putnam area of NY and wants some quality (free) pics of you & your bike just let me know and i will be more then happy to take some pics and print/frame one for you. http://www.pbase.com/george_f/image/68841160 |

Shrink size to 79 kb or find a public host and tag it. GT - JBOTDS! EZ (Message edited by ezblast on October 19, 2006) |

Nytrashman, Is that the new Barracuda tires? What size, clearance issues, handling, and could you post a close up of the side walls, front and rear? Oh yeah .....over in the tire section LOL! OOO! I can't wait! |

Swampy.......yes they are the new Barracuda tires in the following sizes: F: 100/90-16 R: 130-/80-16 there was no clearance issue at all. the front fender did not have to be moved up nor did i have to take a sledge and "adjust" the shock guard on the rear. i have been working on my dirt bike the past two days so i have only take the blast for a couple of quick rides but i noticed the steering is a bit slower with the larger front tire, although i like it this way. i will take the requested pics tomorrow and if i can figure how to post them i will. of course it will be in the tire section, don't want to cause any trouble. here is a test to see if i figured out how to post a pic: {http://www.pbase.com/george_f/image/62829775.jpg} /imagelink{http://www.pbase.com/george_f/image/62829775.jpg} Just make the slash the opposite of the way it is facing now and you will have the above result.
