New England Dragway 10/21/06
I'm considering going out to the track Saturday to enter their "Streetfighter" event. Anybody interested? You could just "test and tune" if you are not interested in entering the race or just ride to the track for the fun of it and watch.....Besides street nights (getting to cold, dark and damp for me), this will be the last event of the season for bikes!

I think it is. I have something I need to do tonight. I have to call a friend also tonight around 6:00 and may have to go meet him up in Burrillville(pascoag). I will call you when I get home or on my way home if it is still early. Busy night tonight. I will be in touch or ya can call me for up to the minute news. |

Okay....What is the game plan for tomorrow? Do we have a trailer? I just picked the truck up a little while ago and will register it tomorrow when I get home. My RMV1 did not come in todays mail so it will be in tomorrows.
Where does everyone wish to meet? I am closest west but if we have a trailer maybe easier to meet wherever the trailer is OR maybe the other truck can pull it here and then return it on there way home?
I don't know I am just yappin. Figure it out later I guess.

I talked to ducxl and he MAY..POSSIBLY...COULD BE showing up on sunday morning. Just needs a lift home which is not a problem for our good buddy! |

I looked at the car trailer and I'm not sure if it will suit our needs. He took the sides off of it so we have nothing to secure the front wheel to while we strap the bikes down. My brother's trailer needs a tire and possibly has a bent axle. (I didn't ask)
I have another contact that I have to call tomorrow. I have a single bike trailer that I can get for now but I'm still looking for a multiple bike trailer. |

maybe rent a u-haul trailer could be an option? Not sure what there set-up is like.
Not sure if i can get 2 bikes on the back of my truck due to the layout of the tiedown spots. But i am sure we can manage something, I just didn't get a good look last night in the dark. maybe i can rig something up real quick like....possible home depot run may be needed....no biggie.
I will also call a friend who has a trailer later this afternoon.

Okay I think I have a trailer if you can't get one. This may be easier for me if I grab this trailer as returning it will be a cinch. Lives up the street from me.

hey eboos congrats either way...
Hey firebolt...Im good the bike is okay I guess. I haven't checked anything I have just been working my ass off (57.5hrs last week as a matter of fact) and my side work is picking back up cause of the cold weather (remote car starters) AND house remodeling. To put icing on the cake, I have a father-in-law living with us that is PISSING OFF AND DRIVING ME TO DRINK and I/we want him OUT but where?
So basically with all the crap on my mind and lack of time, the bike is unfortunately not currently a priority at least till I get a little caught up. |

I got an email about the owner of the bar that hosts the thursday night bike night. He hit or got hit by a jeep one night after one of the bike show nights.... 19th???? anyway the dude broke all kind of bones....... ribs, pelvis and shit. |
