I wanted to have my inspection cover engraved has anyone done this? I found a Russian roulette timing cover where the out side portions were black crinkle. The problem is I can't find it and I didn't bookmark it and it’s out of my history.. If any one has some links to some Custom points covers and or Engraving I'd appreciate it... |

Ted...If you are looking for custom designs, contact Ken (Koz5150) via the BWB and see what he has to say. He and his Father (Bernie) do really great work. They started out with custom designs via the acid etch process and have really come a long way. If you do a long range search on the BWB, you will find samples of his early creations. Enjoy! |

Another option is Mike Norris at Norris Performance. He's a member too, and makes a lot of parts for the guys at KDFab (Drummer) http://www.norrishp.com/ He made the catch-can (now available from American Sport Bike and KDFab) and sprocket cover that are found on my street bike and on the Mid-America H-D/Buell race bike! My fairing hides the catch can, but I promise it's there The pic that Mike sent me (on an XB12)
Close-up of the Black anodized one on the race bike. (CNC engraved)
The picture does no justice to how clean, deep and precisely the letters are cut. |
