I searched the knowledge vault and can't find an answer. What I'm needing to know is what the difference is between '03-earlier sporty pushrods and '02-later xb pushrods. Is there any difference in length? I know they are different part numbers. I am in the process of doing a Thunderstorm conversion on an '05 sportster and need to know which pushrods to use. |

There are a few things to clear up first. there are no 02 XB's and a 03's bumpsticks should work in a 05 Ok on to the heads... are you talking about the old T-sorm heads from the tubers? If so you just went back in HP The 04 and up 1200 Sporty's heads are the same as XB's All you would have needed was XB12 pistons to bring the comp up 10 to 1. If you are doing a 883 convo, get the XB12 pistons and either sporty 1200 jugs and heads or XB12 heads and jugs. |
