at the very southern tip of the Blue Ridge Parkway, just a few minutes outside of Cherokee, North Carolina. (Message edited by jerry_haughton on October 10, 2006) |

at Richland Balsam, about 35 miles up the Parkway from Cherokee. note that we're down to four bikes in this pic - alas, Oldog had had to pull the plug, too, and was already on his way back to his home in Wilmington, SC when this pic was taken. Oldog, you and me go back a bit, and you know how i feel about you and the contributions you've made to the Buelling community. suffice to say, you're one in a million. thanks for being you, and for coming and playing with us! i suspect about four gazillion photos have been taken of Looking Glass Falls over the years, and rightfully so. today was a little gloomier than the last time i was here, but the place is spectacular nonetheless. (Message edited by jerry_haughton on October 10, 2006) |

... but at this stage he's nothing but a lover ... Oh, he was a very cute dog - and lover indeed; "I'll pretend to be fierce and bite you a little and then I'll just sneakily roll over so you can pet my belly". - the dog that is, not me Between that and his stuffed toy duck ... Henrik |
