I called my dealership and talked to the service department about my spedo being of.The guy told me it was probably fuzz on my sensor.I told him I had cleaned it several times and problem is getting wore.He tells me no problem just bring it they have a sensor in stock. So I drop the bike off. Called a week later the service guy tell me they are just starting on my bike and he will call me back. He call back and says looks like I pinched a wire when I put on my aftermarket handlebars and it would not be covered by my warranty. I tell him I dont think so, and that it the sensor. So he say he will call me back. He call back and says it is the sensor and they will have to order it,but I could come get the bike.So I go to pick up the bike and there is a new wrecked buell siting in the back. I asked one guy what happened to the bike, he said someone test drove it and wrecked it. So I asked the service guy could he just get the sensor of the wrecked bike and put it on mine and when sensor came in put it back on the wrecked one. He tells me no because its warranty work but if I want to buy the sensor of the wrecked bike I could. Now why would I buy it if mine is under warranty? After I get my sensor replaced I will never go back to this dealer.

I probably never would have let him near my bike right after the "probably fuzz on my sensor" comment.

Yeah, what dealer?

You're from Decatur, that means Rocket Harley-Davidson/Buell.

What is it about these dealer service departments anyway! Aren't they supposed to provide excellent service, have all the stuff to make you happy and fix it fast?

Interesting that the guy that crapped in the pool never came back to claim the turd.

If you are going to "warn" us about bad service, at least provide us with the dealership.
