Maybe they are parting it out on ebay now. Doesn't quite live up to what they hoped meaning how they are drag racers. Fifth gear wheelies sure suck huh?

Actually, that is St. Paul. Eagle was the one selling theirs.

Keep in mind with these ebay deals, you can almost always get these items for the same prices or cheaper from sponsoring vendors right here on BadWeb.

I am all for supporting the vendors on here - and do. I have probably spent a grand on this board. All I am saying is that I have gotton some decent deals from him in the past, and a couple of his Buy It Nows were comparable in price because shipping was free, no tax, and he had it in stock - so no waiting on a special order. I also have a Harley, and I have bought from him before I spent a lot of time on BadWeb getting to know you all. Guys like Dave, Phil, Josh, Chelle, etc. are priceless to the rest of us.

Jaun (Johnny7051),

Advertising for non-sponsor dealers here is unacceptable, whether via links to their ebay items or where ever. Please avoid that in the future.

We(Some of Brew City BRAG) were at Buell today, had a chat with Erik, who was saying he should put the XBRR exhaust on his CityX : )

I'm not quite sure I really want to know, but... How much is that exhaust?

I apologize, I haven't been on here for a while and did not know that. I had seen links to ebay in the past. I will refrain from doing it in the future.

Daves,

Donnie and I are starting to think of running the FBRAT ULY at Bonneville in 2008. Would need fairing, taie section, and maybe swingarm. with chain stuff. Gonna have to lower it about 4 inches I figure. Do you want to be any part of this madness?? Will understand if you don't.

Take care.

I don't suppose the header will fit the current heads?

anyone thinking of making a dual TB manifold now that we have a factory dual inlet solution?

Anyone have detailed pics of the exhaust?

That swingarm assembly seems like a VERY good price...

Anyway... Jsut a few thoughts is all.

Johnny,

Thanks bro. Just to clarify, links posted in the BadWeB classifieds to personal auctions are fine. Links to ebay auctions of interesting/outrageous/funny personal items are fine. It is only the links to non-sponsor commercial enterprises, ebay or otherwise, that are problematic. : )

The heads are different, and more of a downdraft design, so the intake solution will not work on an XB.
The heads will not swap either.

Will the exhaust swap? I would love a pipe that flows that kind of volume and is that quiet.
If the price isn't insanely high.

Will just the muffler swap over?

I didn't exactly figure that the dual throat setup would be a direct swap : ), but I'm wondering if someone could cook up a manifold? Would it even be worth it?

Not unless you have the engine (150 + HP) to use it.

M1, there was already a a dual throttle body manifold on the current heads. At least on Hals race bikes.

Brian, I should ask Terry if that muffler will fit the current street bikes. I bet not...

Yeah Steve that's what I figure, but it would be an expensive thing for me to experiment with ;)

I am attracted by the low weight, high flow, and low noise. But I'm sure that's just me, no one
else would like any of those features.

I figure if there is more HP available with the new muffler that Jezza tried at Mid-Ohio there
might be a few "obsolete" mufflers laying around. I would be willing to accept one as a donation! ;)
I'm sure I could arrange for it to fit my bike.

Anybody know what the weight savings would be on the front and rear wheels?

Brian, you bet I will see if ours fits the Uly! I like quiet power : D.

I think that the diameter of the pipe is larger at the entrance though just from eyeballing it.

I'm a machinist, I can make an adapter sleeve if that is the only problem with fitting it to my firebolt.

That is the only thing I could see a possible issue with Brian. The mounting locations are stock for the straps and such. Here is the info on the muffler:

S0105.05AH MUFFLER $365

If you would like to order it, please let me know and I'll have the guys from Buell racing get it on the way. My email is jcox@cycleconnectionh-d.com or you can call my phone 417-317-1818 (cell, so anytime is ok before 9pm).
