I am pretty new to badweb but Ive been stationed here in eastern carolina and am looking for a group to participate in and ride with. How do you become part of the the c3? And can I just show up to a meeting? Thank you

Yes you can.
We are a formal/informal BRAG chapter. Our formal BRAG chapter is out of Shelton's HD in Goldsboro, but as you can see C3 is state wide on Bad Web and we like it that way. We have developed into a East/Central/West North Carolina chat board here, and from time to time we try to plan rides to different parts of the state so we can ride together. Southern Marine is also stationed at Camp Lejeune so you have one rider close. I am just north of Kinston, Webethumpin is in Kinston and 1313 is in New Bern. We have a few others that are in and around coastal North Carolina.
The next ride we are planning is a Salute ride in Kinston on Saturday, September the 9th. As the name suggest this ride is to raise funds for Salute, a show that is put on for Veterans. This ride will start in the Kinston Nature Center just off Highway 11 and 70 at 9am (sign in).
After the ride - Sheltons is having an open house so we are planning a back roads ride from Kinston to Goldsboro for the open house and then who knows? I wouldn't mind riding to Jacksonville and Holland's Fish Camp.
So look around the C3 pages, please jump into the discussions and I hope you get a chance to ride with us. |

It's rumored that we do have meetings, but I've never been to one. The rides are much more fun. |

If you want to be added to the C3 e-mail group, drop me a line at suareznc5@earthlink.net. I try to send out e-mails when there's going to be a meeting or a big group ride. Not everyone is on BadWeb all the time, so we try to cover ground this way. |

Mark, as Carlos said, I'm here at Lejeune. I'll be here for a few more months, then hopefully, I'll be headed to Arkansas, Colorado, or Tennessee.

When I get the opportunity I try to take advantage and go for a ride, especially to Old Maple Hill. That's how we lure the rest of C3 here, well that and Hollands.  |

Nutsnbolts & Southern Marine I live in Wilmington but I work in and around Camp Lejeune. I have seen Nutsnbolts on his buell riding around, I was wondering if you were on the BadWeb. I see multiple Blast's on base also. I have to work tomorrow but at least I'm riding the Buell. |

Glad to see you came to say hello on C3. You will find a good group of Buellers here. Although we're spread out all over NC, they still find ways to ride together in different parts of the state. In fact, several of us are headed to Boone in October. Check out the Western Adventure in the Adventure Folder.

Jlnance - I bought a XB12Ss about three weeks ago. I'm really enjoying it and have put about 1k on it since I picked it up. Ready to take it in for the 1k service this week.
Kristi - I'll check out the Western Adventure you mention. I'd love to connect with some other Buell owners for a ride if possible.

Tomr i'm in cleveland between Statesvile and salsbury. about 35 miles from Hickory.Give me a shout.Jim i might be able to make Morrow mt this sat.But will have to be back for a political fund raiser Sat night with Rosemary as she is active in local poltics, her sister is running for register of deeds and I said I'd go with her. She will ride Sat so I'll ride slower than normal' and i'll bring airbox cover and torx socket if you can make it. bye the way she is worth it!!

I'm new to Bad Weather and also do not ride a buell,(THE NEXT BEST THIGH A TRIUMPH) Though I do work at a new Buell dealer, not many guys want to ride with me next Monday. Any takers in this group or would there be anyone going up to the mountains of N.C. on 10-09-2006? |

Hey Up4it,
I and some of the SC Buellers were at Thunder Tower for the first weekend Grand Opening. Meet the owner (Gene I think it was). Tried to tell him about badweb. Anyway Whodom is also in SC and as Bigdaddy mention Cyclonecharlie. Both good guys. I'll be going to watch Cyclone Charlie race in SC the 3rd weekend in October. Always looking for folks to ride with. I've meet some really great people through badweb. |

WOW! what a response guys, I have only worked here for a couple of weeks. There was a guy that came in a couple of weeks ago and gave me a list of riders in the area. One of the guys I ride with now, told me about your site and how everything works.
I will be up taken a ride around Roan mountain on Monday Oct.9th. Sorry I have to work all this weekend.
I will have to hookup with Charlie,Bigdaddy,and Whodom. I think it was Whodom that came in the other week and gave me a list of folks to get the scoop on the riders in my area. Anyway let me go and sell a Buell to someone! later guys |
