what is good suspension set up for my 04 xb12s I'm about 180 and 6ft 1. I ride pretty aggresive and love to corner. |

There were a number of lengthy and useful threads and links on this over the last year. I downloaded them but I don't know how to re-post. If no one gives you a link I could probably email them as an attachment. I weigh about the same as you and sounds like we like to ride the same. I started with the standard set up for up to 190 lbs. I added some more rear rebound (about 1/4). The change I personally liked the best was increasing rear pre-load to 6, with front at 5. This really made the bike turn in nicely. One setup that was posted for a 200 lb + rider was rear pre-load at 6 and front at 6 which I presume would increase that effect. |
