I will be at Mid-Ohio this weekend for the final meet of 2006 AMA racing. The Superbike and FX season champs will be decided there. I sure would like to see the XBRR do well there, but I haven't heard that the Buell team will be there. Any news? Anybody else going? jimidan |

The word during homecoming was that Jeremy would be there for the second Mid-Ohio round. I don't know if that has changed in the meantime. |

There has been conspicuously little chatter about this race on the Buell boards. Anony hasn't offered up any insider info either. I hope Jeremy is there, as he will give us someone to cheer for, besides the Ducks in Superbike. Both my buddy and I have S2's and a Duck...it helps to diversify in this racing fan business. jimidan |

One would assume that Deeley/Picotte's Steve Crevier would attend, since things up North appear to be wrapped up. However you know what good assuming does. |

I'm planning on taking my son out on the Uly. Leave early Sat AM and camp at the track. I haven't been to Mid-Ohio in about 10 years and I'm really looking forward to it. Just hoping the rain holds off (I don't care for camping in the rain). |

"The rain in Ohio falls mainly on the racetrack." The Very Vocal Jimidan It is sounding like things are definitely picking up for this weekend...and I will be camping out regardless of the rain. Actually, I hear that the rain will pass through the area on Thursday, leaving us with cool fall weather for the races...sounds good to me! My dilemma is whether to 1) ride the S2 up there from KY on Thursday in the rain and make it to all of the festivities on Friday at the track...or 2) ride up on the S2 on Friday in the dry and miss all the Friday action at the track...or, 3) drive my car up on Thursday in the rain (who cares) and not have my Buell to ride around on all weekend (uggg). I look forward to meeting up with Ebear (I hope you are not disappointed...I am not nearly as funny in person), and others. I do like Irish/British beer, but where are we going to get any in central Ohio? I also look forward to meeting John Warr, if he is there, while wearing the Warr's T-shirt that he sent me long ago. It's official - I just bought my tickets about an hour ago. Still not sure on my schedule but I plan to be at the track before noon on Saturday. I don't much care about rain either - other than riding home in the dark in it on Sunday night. Hopefully, I'll run into some of you folks over the weekend. |

From the Buell home page: Buell at Mid Ohio Formula Xtreme Race Friday, September 29 - Sunday, October 1, 2006 Stop by and visit Buell at the races. We'll have shade, demo rides and a rider recharge station. We wish all the Buell dealer teams racing in the remaining races Good Luck! I sold my Sportster and am going to pick up my new XB12Ss Friday or Saturday. Looks like I've got a busy weekend in store! |

Does anyone need a Sunday ticket? I can only stay thru the FX races on Saturday, then I'm riding home. Price is free, you'll just need to meet me on Sat. at the track to get them. I believe the other guy going w/me is leaving at the same time, so his Sunday ticket may be available as well. I will be leaving my shop at 11:30 Friday a.m. PM me a cell number if you are interested, so we can make the arrangements for exchange. Dan |

Just seen the first practice results for the supersports class. Chaz Davies, teen age British ex-250 GP rider and friend of Jeremy McWilliams (Jeremy apparently got the gig for Chaz), was 10th fastest and just 0.2 seconds behind Jamie Hacking and ahead of some very established names Not bad for his first EVER 600 ride and first time in the US Go CHAZ!!! |

I'd say that is a good thing for Mr. Jezza vs the rest of the field. Did they say whether the race will run in the rain or not? |
