I'm not in a rush to sell it by any means but would like to pay off a few bills since I'm in CDL School getting my Class A license and had to be out of work for 2 months to get that until I get a Class A driving job right after school so I'd like to pay some things off. But anyways... It's from a MINT condition 1999 X1 Lightning with 3500 miles. I've got all the pics of when I picked it up and during the take apart and what the motor is now. It's got all the fuel injection, clutch cable, throttle cables, misc. oil lines, etc. etc. It's in perfect condition and has all new metal gaskets put in with all recalls done to that year (I think all were for the bike but just shows how well it was taken care of) and the guy I bought it from got all that done by the dealer. Harley SYN-3 was used since 600 miles. 93 Octane always used as well. I drove the bike about 20 miles after I got it and it ran like a top. I've also still got the frame and a perfectly clear title for it. I'll include that and also the full wiring harness as well as some other smaller stuff I've got. (Horn, pulley cover, etc. etc. etc.) I'd like to get $2750 for it. I can help crate it as long as buyer pays for shipping and materials for me to crate it with. Forward air probably has predone crates for crap for cheap and they're pretty local I think I don't mind dropping it off to one of those places. Or you can pick it up, it's in Albany, NY. 518-378-3377 is my cell or email me at adamcooney@nycap.rr.com Thanks. .Adam. Here are the pics of the bike before I took the motor out. It ran perfect and I was going to build a chopper and I'm still going to, it will just have to be later than I wanted is all.

Hey Adam, Do you still have the whole exhaust? If so, would you be interested in just selling it. Let me know a price if your interested. Thanks, Wade |

I do not, almost every part for it was sold besides the engine, wiring harness, frame/title, horn, kickstand, pulley cover, engine mounts, and smaller stuff like that. |

I'm going to build one eventually. If I don't sell the engine it's not a big deal. I just wanted to pay off some bills quicker. I'm still going to build one no doubt!!! It's just since I'm out of a job with being in school and all, but I'm out in 2 weeks and am going with Werner after that so I'll pay off all my bills in like 3 months so either way is fine, not like I can't find another donor bike again, heh. Just thought I might be able to pay the bills off now then pick up another donor bike over winter time, if not that's fine too. |
