Hey Bart, looking good! I'm quite jealous. I'm hoping to take a trip like that next year, maybe up the west coast and back down though yellowstone or something. I can't believe you sat on that little seat for 6000 miles! I will be going to the Wicked Twisties Tour. The offer is still there to any arizonan that wants to put their Buell in the back of my truck. Just let me know. Also if anyone wants to go for a ride any morning except mon or tue post a note and I'll probably be there. |

That is a corbin seat and it actually performed quite well, compared to my trip 6 years ago, when I needed butt surgery due to the stock seat on my blue S2. The ergo's on the S2 was rather comfortable, and the NRHS motor just purred like a kitten. Looking forward to seeing you on the twisties tour, I'll be on the XB for that ride, need to give the S2 a rest. Maybe with some luck you can drag some of them 'Zonies out with you for a taste of these NM mountains. |

Well there is a 'Zonie that would love to, but is sans wheels to use. Though I have been cleared to ride again, just not go back to work as of yet, the doc wants to make sure that I can deal with that kind of mileage again before he gives me the all clear in writing. |

I didn't know your wheels were messed up in the crash, Wycked. Are u building a different bike? Or still trying to get the old one back up and running? |

Bike was made roadworthy, if unfinished and used as a trade in towards an S-15 Sonoma to make it possible to get to work on time without having to take the non/semi-nonexistent bus system here in Phoenix.I have a mismash of components but nothing that could be thrown together right this second and made roadsafe, note I said 'roadsafe' not roadlegal... |

Good to hear the news Wycked. Hope you are able to get on two wheels soon. As for the rest of you "Zonies", you too Wycked , like I mentioned in some other posts, there may be a chance that I might be heading back that way, just a bit further north this time, Vernal, UT. I'll know more hopefully within the next month (I'm hoping). Ya'll take it easy (Message edited by southernmarine on September 07, 2006) |

Vernal? Theys gots many wives up there yes??? LOL! Good hearing from ya Southern. New assignment? Hey Wycked, that is good news, I know when last we talked at hooters, the arm wasn't as fragile. You were using it a lot more than previous visits. Here's good thoughts your way to help your body along in healing its self! |

Hey Charlie. It's my venture into the civilian arena. I'm soon to be a PFC again and the company that I have been talking to about employment wants me to go to this area. We're crossing our fingers and hoping all works out well. |

I was thinking about doing it. I'm doing the buell ride in NM at the end of this month too. Is anyone else in AZ going? It's only 6 hours away!!! Three days of great riding, great people, and a few beers... Also, I'm going to take my sister on a ride this weekend on her new(used) bike. It will be her first venture out of town on a bike so we won't be doing any fast riding. If anyone would like to come along I'd appreciate the company. It won't be an all day ride, probably Sat or Sun afternoon around 3. |

You guys need to stop posting pics of these x-rays, your going to scare the new guys, and the folks on the AZ thunder bike thread... Kelly, Looking forward to seeing you, the end of the month. Gonna be a bit chilly up in the mountains so bring the thermals. (it does get cold above 8000 ft) The Sandias are 10,000 ft. I'm not sure which days I'll be able to ride since I'm out of town working on Friday. Think I'll be leading one of the rides on Saturday, and maybe a short one on Sunday. But I'll be present for the dinners each night, LOL. (I'm just going so I can get a t-shirt) I ride these roads every weekend. |

Buell Demo truck will be at Chandler HD/Buell on Sat & Sun. Get a 20% discount on Buell parts with a demo ride. Anyone interested? I might try to get there Sat AM or Sunday around noon. |

Looks like I may have the ole XB up for sale soon. Any ideas on what I should ask for it? Got two new Diablos to go with it too... |

So, Brian, is the sale due to something new, or the side effects of the slowing real estate market? Slap a sign on the XB and lets ride down to Chandler this weekend. |

Brian selling the XB??? Can you break loose for one final ride down 191 the 7th, 8th, and 9th? Some of the New Mexican riders are heading that way that weekend. Be nice to get a final ride in with you before you let it go... Give me a call Brian! |

There are multiple reasons, but the biggest is the fact I just don't ride it anymore. |

Rode the uly today, very cool like Big dirt bike(needed dirt to play in)almost would trade my xb12R for one. Seems like my 12R has more torque and power? I have jardine exhaust and carbon fiber under fairing. That make diffrence?} |

No Mr. Brian. Noooooooo! Are you gonna get something else? or just strictly cagen' it now? I must admit, I'm not riding mine much anymore either... Not going to sell her though. Gonna make her track only after I get the Uly. I really like the desert cammo body work they have now. (Message edited by charlieboy6649 on October 14, 2006) |

Question for the Tucson Buellers. I am going to be in Tucson in a few weeks and I have 2 questions. I am going to need a detail (automotive) shop in/around Tucson. Any recommendations? Second question, Any dealers rent Buells? I think I might miss mine enough to rent one for an afternoon. Any info would be much appreciated. |

Tucson HD is the only game in town. I haven't lived there for a couple of years, but they didn't rent Buells then. That may have changed with the popularity of the Uly, but I doubt it. Tucson HD was where I bought my XB, and they weren't too enthusiastic about Buell. Not a bad dealer...just not all that crazy about Buell. |

What's up everyone! I need a donor bike! Anyone know of a buell laying around that someone wants to get rid of? 1200cc good condition (Motor) body doesn't matter I'm going to be stripping it down and making a chopper out of it. I just don't want to buy everything separate because I'll just get nickel and dimed to death. I don't want to take mine apart and use it. If I do that I won't be able to have my little speed fixation. My email is jwilliams303@cox.net and i'm from the SE tucson |
