So either I don't get it or something else is going on.... Here's the deal: I just got this setup yesterday.... read all the instructions, installed all the software. Hooked the VDSTS up to my 2006 XB12R to get a feel of the TPS procedure. Everything looks good except one thing. The throttle voltage is off the scale, seriously out of wack....!! Here is what I get: throttle position= closed 5.5, full open 85.0 throttle %= closed 6.2, full open 99.6 Throttle voltage=189.65 never moves.... I can turn everything off then back on reconnect and now I get 190.90-192.16 without doing anything.... according to the service manual max volts is like 5v...not 186-190....what gives.... either there is a conversion error in the software for scaling this or I missed it..or the unit is faulty or as I'm lead to believe according to the service manual that the TPS is faulty......but the bikes runs fine...??? Anyone got any good input on this....???? |

I do not even remember seeing a TPS volts read out when I used the VDSTS with my 04 12S to bad the VDSTS is not truly a full feture scan tool. just like in the automotive world. the aftermarket scan tools do some but not all functions of the dealer tool |

Look on the Technoresearch website to ensure that you have the most up to date software. That seems to fix most woes. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/3842/142751.html?1151607318 |
