Ssshhh, don't tell anybody where you saw these.... Al, no fair telling. Caution, this is a PROTOTYPE, hell I know production pieces that don't look this good! Some minor changes B4 production, may be offered in AL, TI, CF and who knows what else! Sounds better than the Borla, looks better than the Supertrap, mounting is simple but robust, power as good as W.B.. The true test is about 2000 miles. Home Coming here I come! |

Cyrider: Is the header going from 2.5 to 2.0 at the elbow? Isn't that going to reduce power? Jose |

Jose: I asked that very same question of the Technical people at 2Bros. They felt that with their slip-on design that the reduced elbow was better suited than the full diameter. Somethings he pointed out was: A: back pressure for the system B: gas velocity C: slip-on internal diameter D: Pulses, wave propergation and wave fronts E: Oops I can't remember "E". By the time he got this far my head was swimming and it sounded like he might have done something like this before. The charts show it to be equal or slightly better than the V&H. In my previous dyno runs I had seen that the two best slip-ons were the W.B. and V&H. Hey it power wheelies in second gear, right MRR? Al, got any comments? Neil S. |

I have tried all sorts of mufflers and headers on my bike AND still havent found any that work as well as the race kit produced by Buell themselves. Every time I changed the system I have checked out the results on a Dyno. and the Buell system still produces the best power with the best curve!!!!!! |

I know nothing about exhaust theory. But since Neil let the cat out of the bag, (SSSHHH!!), see the dyno charts section and the mystery muffler on the chart I posted there. My 99 S3 was the fit check bike up at 2bros, the baseline V&H has about 9K on it on original packing. Wierdness at the lower end, wonder if that is real or dyno operator induced. Anyway, who really cares below 2.5K, the gains at 3.5 to 4k are worth it even if the losses at 2k are real. Doesn't look like it's easily adaptable to the race header, though...major bummer. Al |

This graph was from 2 years ago on a standard S1 with 5000 on the clock except it had the buell race exhaust setup fitted. |

You tell em Sqizzy. 98 S1/Tstormed/Buell Race Header & Muffler. 20,000 miles. No wierdness on this bottom end. Quit playing with Slip Ons and get a header first. |
