New to Buell, best bike i have ever owned ! please help, as i had planned on riding 300 miles this weekend. |

Go for it, the ECM will adjust if things have changed. If it's a modified stock muffler, it won;t change that much. Brad |

I guess I wasn't very clear before. I installed a Wileyco muffler (very cool !) I was told that the injection system can only adjust by +/- 10% and that I would most likely be running too lean. Thanks Ian |

If you changed out the intake also, you may want to get the race ECM. It's probably running leaner than when it was stock. It will run better with the race ECM. The flat spot in the middle will go away... They are pretty lean from the factory to start. Brad |

ID, I have never heard the 10% thing, above ~ 2700 rpm to near WFO the ECM is reading the O2 sensor and adding fuel, I ran a super trapp no race ecm, no major problem. the race ecm is a nice piece to add though |

Thanks for the replies. I guess that I will be adding the usual upgrades, so I might as well add the race ecm first. |
