Is there anyone in the Woodinville/Everett/Monroe Washington area with an X1 I could look at to figure out how to do the front chin fairing mount for my M2? Thanks, Andrew |

Did you figure out what you needed to do yet ? I have one on my M2, fairly easy to do, just have to have the right parts. I could help you out with a parts list and photos if needed. Brian |

Got a look at a diagram in the parts book at the at the dealer (for an X1) and have bought and installed the bracket at the front end of the shock. I would like to see the mounting in real life so I can come up with ideas for dealing with the Banke shifter without getting a new Banke mount. Some photos of the mounting, esp. left side would be great! Andrew |

I think you'll find the Banke shifter will still fit and work without interfering with the chin spoiler in its correct position - but don't quote me. Rocket |

I have M2 with Banke shifter and the X1 chin fairing, but picture's too big to post here. If you want, PM me with your email, and I can send over couple pics. |
