With all this recent talk about Mobil-1 possibly causing stator failure, I wanted to switch. Mobil-1 engine oil (15w-50) DOES work very well in the tranny. You can use a variety of oils. For H-D oils, Formula + is now used for every chaincase/tranny on Buell/XL models (year is regardless).
