I know it's early, but what plans should I be making for this w/e? Camping or hotel? I plan on riding out from central PA on Friday the 29th, stay thru Sunday. I'm kinda leaning towards the hotel (it never rains inside a hotel room, yep I like my creature comforts) most hotels (with available rooms) are around 8-10 miles away. Seems all the close rooms are taken by the factory racers already. This will be my first AMA race, I've been to many NHRA drag races and enjoy their "open pits" policy, is the padduck pass the same thing? Any tips for this w/e would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Dan |

Toona-I'll be heading up from cbus, and was thinking of getting some guys together for some camping. I'm not much of a hotel guys and the weather is usually awesome that time of year. Smoke is right you'll get addicted to the smell of race gas... |

Ft Wayne to Lexington would probably be about 3 hrs. but may be longer since there definitely isn't a straight route. 33 to 36/37 maybe...Route 6 through NW Ohio and then down...A lot of people that like noise sit in infeild of Thunder alley... |
