Darren James, reigning 2005 champion of the Canadian Thunder motorcycle road racing series just won the series championship for 2006 as well. Way to go Darren James! |

It was nice to see Picotte back at the top of the podium for the series finale. He's had a rough, injury plagued year.

Does this picture hint of things to come? Picotte/Crevier 2007 - Sounds good to me. |

Wishful thinking on my part. Picotte was not only the best Harley VR1000 pilot, he is also one of the nicest guys in the paddock. He is currently an owner/rider for Yamaha Canada as well as playing a pretty big part (owner as well?) in the Deeley Buell race team. I don't know what kind of contract he has with Yamaha, but I would like to see him make a return to the AMA. What better way than to race the XBRR. |
