My Buells have never let me down or stranded me. My '99 S3 has 22K miles; my '04 XB12S has 8.5K miles and both are reliable. Obtaining a replacement motor is not a problem. |

Our '99 M2 has 46,000 miles, we are the 3rd owners. The '06 Uly has 13,000 in less than a year! Neither of these bikes have been babied. They both have been on long trips, leaving NC and going to Daytona, FL for bike week and up to IN/OH to visit family. Both bikes did great and my husband would head out tomorrow on either of them without hesitation. Take care of your bike, do routine and preventative maintenance and you should have no problems. Buy a manual!!! (Message edited by Ulywife on September 04, 2006) |

S1 engine is basically a hot-rodded Sportster mill -- all the parts are availabe through your local HD/Buell dealer, or from one fo the sponsers here on the board |
