Brent, I have to see if I can go, but I may be game for meeting at Garmin for a ride to Cassoday. I would want to meet up with Drake & Co. down there and ride back through Eskridge with them, maybe do lunch then split for home. I like to stop at Beto Junction for a greasy buffet truck stop breakfast on the way to Cass. Lee |

Well guys, I have made it to Topeka and am eager to do a little riding this weekend. However, the wife did not realize how long I would be gone riding on Sunday! Apparently there is a family get together in Seneca, KS for the Labor Day holiday and she figured we would go and see her grandparents who live up there while we are back in Kansas. Seneca is the complete opposite direction of Cassoday. Its up by Nebraska... I am not so sure of my status on this ride now. I will post up later to let everybody know, but right now its not looking good. |

Lee and anyone else interested in Cassoday: I am meeting up with one other Harley rider on the south side of the Olathe Medical Center parking lot (we both work there). We are meeting @ 0730. This is an open invite. I've never been to Cassoday and would love to have someone show me where the greasy food is! I will not ride if it's raining. Other than that I'll be there at 0730. Hope to see anyone interested. Call if you have questions. Other than that, have a safe weekend. Brent 913.710.8909 |

Update on Reece Good's condition: Update: 9/01/06 Well it's been three weeks....and we feel like Reece is showing some very good signs of improvement this week. Over the last couple of days he has definitely been awake alot more and had his eyes wide open. He recognizes people when they go in to see him as well as subjects that they discuss with him i.e. names of friends & family, his shop, etc. Heath went in a couple of days ago and told him that he was keeping the shop going and that they'd been working on some handle bars and Heath said that Reece opened his eyes wide up and Heath could tell that Reece was comprehending what he was talking about. He will squeeze your hand now when you tell him to. The nurses have asked him to give them a "thumbs up" a few times and he's actually given the a thumbs up. I think they are cute nurses... maybe he's flirting with them! They started him on some physical therapy yesterday and he is doing some stuff pretty good and other stuff he isn't able to do yet. They asked him to push against them with his leg and he was actually able to do it. He does still have a few blood clots in his legs, but they aren't as concerned about those as they have blocks in to keep them from going anywhere. He does have one in his arm so they are giving him blood thinners. The doctor told us yesterday that he can tell that Reece is very DETERMINED and if they had to guess...he will walk and talk again. They obviously can't be 100% sure. We are very pleased with his progress this week. It has really boosted our spirits! Hang with us....we've still got a long road ahead! Have a great & SAFE holiday weekend! THe Good/Murray Family P.S. Reece's bday is Monday, Sept. 4-- Be sure to say a birthday wish for him!! |

Lowflyer, my band DGPG is willing to perform for any fundraising events you guys have for Reece. Just let us know and we will work out the details with you as long as it does not totally conflict with anything we already have scheduled. I talked to Mrs. Wise about this and she said there may be a Poker run in October. Rusty DGPG@kc.rr.com http://www.myspace.com/disgruntledgnome |

That is a very generous offer. I imagine you can get hold of someone from the website to get hooked up with a gig. I should have posted the link from where I lifted this update. I am not close to the situation, just have neighbors and friends that are. Reece's shop is a block from my house. Here is the link: www.spikestrikes.com/reece.html here is another one: http://www.wiseguydesign.com/reecegood.html |

Rusty, good seeing you on sunday...you rock star types are supposed to be taking drugs for recreational purposes....pay attention to what your doctor says and take care of yourself brother. Larry, looks like I might have to buy a trampoline...I set Ella on the hot tub cover when we got home and she started bouncing up and down like she was at your place. great grub and good times, and you were right, that Danielle is a brick. |

Well for being Buell-less and completely motorcycle free for 4 months I thought I was doing quite well on my path to an addiction-free lifestyle. Hadn't beaten the wife too badly nor kicked the cat. But then my brother offered me his motorcycle. More correctly his wife told me to take it cause she had tripped over it once too many times after 12 years in the basement and had it dragged out into the woods. How could I leave it there to shiver and die? So for a weekend drive to Maine and a few bucks in Uhauls pocket, I got me a PROJECT. We'll see how well it responds to heart massage and light lubrication. Otherwise it's destined for salvage. 81 Yamaha Seca 750. It's all there, even the original pipes with zero rot. The paint is faded and the clutch plates welded together. It's a nicely styled bike but the components were cheap, even for 1981. The kids more excited than I am about it.

Its ok Dennis, I need a person to install Wireless High speed internet connections on homes and businesses in Coffeyville, I have 140 installations scheduled and more coming, I pay 75.00 per install and you can do 4 to 5 a day. I have to start on 9/11 so I will go myself and start but need to hire someone to take over from there. |

Scott... I have two security surveys to do on a couple of big corporations here in KC. They think they will start in about a week, and I will be busy for about two months. Otherwise I'd be looking real hard at returning to Coffeyville! If I think of someone who can handle this, I will reach out to you. dasbuell |
