Denise, Was that expansion for the latte machine that kept blowing his fuses? JB2 |

naw, something about Victory specific repair kits/spare parts. Decided the triple A card would probably work best since the bag reaaaally could not expand that far...

Well Henrik, the bits that *are* there are very pretty! If all else fails, just go take Court's recently reworked bike... that'd do BTW, I will probably have a bed open in the hotel for another old booring guy in the hotel for Monday and Tuesday night. I'll bring ear plugs if you are a snor-er. (Message edited by reepicheep on August 29, 2006) |

Denise, I see you've been drinking from Ferris's Kool-Aid. That's okay I won't hold it against you. Does AAA really sell Victory accessories? Who'd of thought? I've got plenty of room in my expandable RKA(Road King Annihilator) tankbag. Maybe Ferris will allow me to do some shopping on his card. JB2 |

now I understand why he was spewing all over the keyboard when he was supposedly working the last coupla weeks. and no worries about coffee on this trip, seems Ferris can spot a Starbucks within a 50 mile radius - he and Gentleman Jim were fueling up at one before rolling this a.m., yessiree, the yuppie Dave Barr --- hohohoho oh yeh, AAA will at least haul a bike to the nearest repair shop, which,... well, ya just never know. |

I love Starbucks. No. Ireally love Starbucks... So did Gentleman Jim get to meet the real Dave Barr during his short stay at the 'Dome? |

Not this trip. Kept the kick off BBQ pretty low key mainly due to time constraints and the "breakfast at 5:00" bell rang way too early for anyone but the regular residents of the Dome. You boyz be safe - will be there in spirit. D |

Attention .... Ferris and Gentleman Jim have been sighted in New Mexico !
I met them in Albuquerque, and treated them to lunch at Chili's restaurant, after which I escorted them down Route 66 to the east side of the Sandia mountains, past the hwy construction.
I pulled over in Moriarty to turn around and we said our good bye's. BUT, not before Ferris vandalized my truck...
I felt obligated to return the favor and vandalized his bike.
The last view I had was of this...
A short but fun visit, glad I was able to say hi and feed them before sending them back on their way. Ride safe, have fun, and take lots of pics! Denise, good talking to you during the lunch, shame your going to miss it, the BRP is spectacular. I have a check I'm sending your way for Ferris' seat pad... Wish I had it three weeks ago, LOL. |

Bad Billy Bart, Thanks for the pics, amazing how the brain fades in 24 hours - was even forgetting he was on that pearl white scoot. ha! Thinking the third try (now missed the first two) will be a winner. Double thumbs up on the decal! Sorry Court, just a triple A card to haul broken bikes (usually Victories) off the BRP - and sorry JB2, couldn't resist. |

Dual disk project is just put on hold until after the trip. It'll require some machining. Barring any major disasters, I think I should be able to take off sometime Saturday. Court - I'll need a few more details taken care of, then you're welcome Henrik (Message edited by Henrik on August 30, 2006) |

>>>I'll bet Court has test ridden bikes that were far less complete.... Although that's an accurate statement . . my adventures pale in comparison to a fellow who, when nabbed by the Highway Patrol one fine evening, was aboard a motorcycle with the headlight PAINTED on! I did have the pleasure of quite unintentionally becoming airborne on a "much less complete" motorcycle one day. Fun times. Henrik's bike is looking pristine. |

Alex, Looking forward. The Victory is loaded and pointed south. Sounds like Ferris is right on track for his Friday arrival in Columbia, SC. You should really be starting this trip with us in Franklin, as well as D., but I certainly understand the whole responsibility/time factor. For the next two weeks I'm going to shirk all that for some serious "wind-in-my-face" time. D., you have mail regarding the shipment of Ferris's latte refills. YIKES! JB2 |
