My use of the metaphor "Kool Aid" was intended to refer to the community, the people and the good times associated with Buells. Perhaps, given the broad range of interpretations, a poor choice of metaphor. My bet is that anyone who's been around Buells for more than a couple years knew and understood what I meant. |

Buell-Aid is packed with protein, carbohydrates and vitamins, ZERO poison. It makes one wiser, smarter, and better looking. On account of smiles will do that to a person. Highly doubtful that any of the Jonestown folks were smiling when they drank their poison. Used in a positive retort, it's no big deal. Used by naysayers or detractors or folks for some reason trying to deride others, the "kool-aid" accusation is ignorant, hateful and just plain intellectually lame, period. |

quote:I'd love to make it to Summit Point and have an opportunity to see Brian race.
Due to the infinite wisdom of CCS, Brian will not be at Summit Point that weekend. CCS has races scheduled that weekend in West Virginia, Illinois and Florida. Brian will be in Illinois for the ASRA National, looking to get points for the ASRA National Thunderbike Championship, where he is currently second behind Dave Estok. Nate Kern, third in the Thunderbike points chase, wanted to be in Illinois, but the local BMW dealers have a big event at Summit Point to cheer on Nate and he's commited to being there. Anthony, Keith, Art Diaz, Jeff G., Chris D, Patrick and others will be at Summit Point, so we'll have plenty of Buells to cheer on. |

Not sure, I think he rode it once before at Barber. Somebody asked about more pictures, I have more, just not the time to post them! (Message edited by José_quiñones on August 30, 2006) |

Well, making something positive and uniting out of something hateful and divisive is always a good thing. DaveS is the master at that sort of thing. He's a great example for us all. He should write a book on the subject. Well maybe not, cause then he'd likely feel obliged to tell us how he "REALLY" feels. |
