I'm looking forward to meeting everyone else as well. The last adventure I met U4euh and Rubberdown. There are several I've e-mailed or had BadWeb conversations with but could walk past them on the street and never know it!

C3 has become a neat little community. Too bad we're so spread out across this long state. Maybe it's to keep those of us who are married with little children at home out of divorce court - LOL!!

Seems like you and I are the only ones up this late! U4euh is usually on late, wonder where he is.......

I know it's a bit early, but do any of you guys have a route planned out yet to go to Boone? If anyone wants to meet me in Greensboro, I'll be going this way. 8/89 N to Hanging Rock, 268 W. to 18 N to the Parkway at Laurel Springs. I want to stop at Station's Inn for coffee and a t-shirt. That would be a good place to meet up with Glenn. Then head south down the Parkway to 421. Just a nice leisurely cruise. This time I hope my bike does not start bucking like a bronco. Man, that was one miserable ride home until Jim R. found the culprit. Hope you people have a great weekend. I'm gonna try to make it to Oak Island Sat. morning and stay in my Grandfather's old place. Have not been in the house since I was eight or so. It's on the oceanfront, and should be alot of fun. Later...

I guess I should have mentioned , after Gramps died in '71, the step grandmonster took his beach house, the house in Laurel Springs, just off the Parkway, and also bankrupted Strong Tire Co. For years, the beach house was not up for rent, but it finally is now! Larry...hope your son is back to his usual self . Take care...

Wow, sounds like she was not so nice, if she wouldn't share. Seems a shame you have to rent your Grandfathers place. As for Aaron he is doing pretty well, he still has some pretty bad pain, he is up and walking with a turtle like brace around his torso and a walker. We are just happy he is home(sometimes).

Well I've started getting the truck ready for Boone! Today I got the tires rotated and balanced. Should be a smoother ride than last time! Brakes get done next week.

Kristi, are you taking the trailer? If there is room, I'd like to put a bike on there. I'd like to end up with both the Blast and the Uly in Boone, so at least one has to ride on a trailer. If there isn't room, its no big deal.

I'm going to e-mail and see if we can get early check-in. I plan to put Twig, Xb9ser and Rubberdown down as our people to pick keys up. I will also post the address for the rental company and cabin.

Hey Nuts - Better late than never! We're leaving here Friday AM, Oct 6th and leaving on Sunday PM, Oct 8th. Interested in coming? We have a cabin rented and will be bringing breakfast stuff, beer, munchies and drinks. We plan to have lunches and dinners out. There are about 10 going with 8 bikes. We still have room in the cabin if you don't mind a sleeping bag and air mattress. This is the group going:
