I just finished painting my rear shock from yellow to red to complete my "Cherry Bomb" project. Took about 10 mins to remove shock.

It looks really nice. Did you paint the spring on the shock or take it off? What kind of paint/coating did you use & how does it stand up to flexing? I have a red XB9 too y'see Pip pip |

I painted the spring ON the shock. Took about 10 mins to remove and I just taped it off. I used Krylon Fusion rattle can. I haven't road tested it yet but I'm sure it will do just fine. I was wondering I anyone saw my keychain. |

Looks very nice Will. I had a red shock on mine first! (It is the stiffer "race " shock.) I don't get the " Keychain" remark. Did you compress the suspension with a strap to remove the shock? Clever. I put my bike on stands, and then jacked up the motor - didn't think of the strap thing. |

Hey Will, Are those the tapeworks rim strips? Do you have to have the wheels removed to install them? Thanks, Bill |
