Congratulations on your new ride.
I have a stupid question though...How do you only have five miles on it? I put 15 miles on mine on the test ride!
Have fun and be careful.

Looks like a Micron!

Schweeeet!

Hey Yellowbolter - if the USAF ever sees fit to send you to Edwards or another SoCA location - even if for a weekend, be sure to give a holler! We'll set you up with a ride if possible - or at least do some burgers on an open flame!

Welcome to the madness!

Yellowbolter

Welcome to the group. It is a very helpful and interesting bunch. Nice bike with a sweet looking exhaust. Good luck getting the license. If you have not taken (or its been a long time)consider the motorcycle safety course. Enjoy the ride.

Beautiful exhaust. Congrats!! I see you have the custom Buell seat. I'm thinking of purchasing one for my new 12R - what do you think of it? Comfortable?

I just bought the custom Buell seat. It is ten times more comfortable. Well worth it for the price. Your ride height is a little higher and so your forearms ache a bit more. But, I'm sure I will get used to it. It's only been a week.

well i dropped the damn thing already..i was coming up a climbing right turn when all of a sudden there was a stopsign..i went to put my feet down and the right side of the road was caved in/ washed out...nothing to put my put on...
only damage is a cracke right fron turn signal and sratched mirror..frame sliders saved everything...so at the end off the day wheni replace the turn signal and mirror no one would ever no but it still pisses me off...but on a lighter note i have already put 150 miles on it..and the only issue so far is the plugs are a little fouled i think but thats an easy fix

the good news in that is that Buells are relatively cheap to repair.

The turn signals are $5-7, the mirror isn't much more, especially if you can find one from a badwebber!

Normally if a plug fouls it's going to be the front one. That's good news since it is the one that is easiest
to get to. The plugs tend to foul if you "blip" the throttle at intersections and when the motor is cold.
If you avoid doing that then they don't foul often at all. Also, if you don't let the motor warm up a few
minutes before taking off the rear cylinder base gasket can/will eventually start seeping oil.
