I think I've seen a list of the XB color schemes available by year, but can't seem to find it again. Can you help? | ||

03- XB9R white (arctic white?) with blue or orange stickers or Battle blue with orange stickers. silver wheels 03 XB9S & SL Black or yellow silver wheels 04 XB9S &SL same as above silver wheels 04 XB9R battle blue with white stickers & white wheels 04 XB12R & XB12S Black or red amber/gold stickers/wheels 05 XB9R Yellow with white stickers & wheels 05 XB9SX Hero blue, black wheels 05 XB12R black, red or thrust blue. amber/gold stickers & wheels 05 XB12S & 12Scg black, red or blue amber/gold stickers & wheels I'd do 06 & 07 but I'm out of time. I'll do them tomorrow if no one has done so yet. | ||

Metalstorm - Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for. Does this site have a page for "reference" information? If so, I haven't found it. Factory specs (including colors available, and photos representative of each model) for all years and models (not just XB's) would be good to have in one central location. | ||

I don't know if such information exists here or not. If it does it would surely be found in the Knowledge vault. For some reason I'm having a hard time remembering 06 options. I must be more tired than I thought. I believe the 06 lightnings & Firebolts are the same as 05. The 12Scg gets the added see through orange option. I can't remember if the standard 12S was available in that as well. I'm thinking yes. The XB9SX gets the kick ash color option added. Uly is introduced in black or barricade orange 12Ss is introduced in Sunset orange with sunset orange wheels. I can't remember if it was offered in black. I'm thinking no. | ||

For 2003, XB9R Buell also produced the Battle Blue plastics w/ white decals.  | ||

That is a picture of a 2004 and no they did not have blue with white stickers. Only orange stickers. | ||

There was a 2003 Battle Blue XB9R, not sure about the color of the decals though. | ||

The 04 XB9R's had silver wheels, not white. The white wheels started with the 05 models | ||

Since I own an '03 'R' in Battle Blue.. I can say without a doubt.. The Blue version only had the Orange stickers. I know, I changed them out since I thought they were F-ugly. If they'd had the white decals in '03, I'd probably still have them.. then again.. I might not be BluBlak if that had happened.. Oh well.. | ||

Brian are you sure about the silver wheels on the 04 9R? I could swear they started with white in 04 then switched the plastic to yellow in 05. | ||

Where are the pics of past Buells on Buell.com? Actually you are correct. I just had a memory flash of "hero white" wheels. I was depending upon my somewhat faulty memory. Mea Culpa. I'm the first one to own up when I'm wrong! | ||

There are no pics of past Buells on Buell.com. I was referring to the ones they had back in 2004. You had me doubting myself! I have a memory like a ummm.. err... what are those big grey things called? You now, big ears, long nose. I can't remember what they're called but I got a memory just like them  |
