Heartland Park Topeka track day 9/11 next to last one. Next one in late Oct. might be snowed out. So this could be the last one. I would like to have other Buellers to ride with! |

Hey Rhun i am seriously considering going to that track day. i'm sure Jim (Trueblue) will let me borrow his overpants. i would really like to get a pair of leather pants before i go but i might just make due with one pair of regular jeans under one pair of Icon Recon jeans and under Jim's Joe Rocket overpants. think they are Joe Rocket Ballistic 5.0's. i really don't think i will need knee pucks since this might be my first track day. currently trying to contact HPT to confirm the requirements for P.P.E. |

Eric, It should have a PDF file to download the application and rules. Not sure if I will be able to make this one. I'll let you know if I do. Don't let Rhun fool you...he's fast! |

My riding buddy Rory and I rode to Hyder Alaska. We took our geezer glides but I thought I would try to post some pictures of it anyway Just click on it The glacier is the Columbia zice Fields the ice is 1000 feet thick there. Rory is waving at the sign and that's me at Hyder. The brown bear is a Grizzly and the black one is a black bear, How do you like the road sign? We rode 6300 miles in 13 days, 13 states and two provinces. /imagelinkhttp://adobe.kodakgallery.com/Slideshow.jsp?mode=fromshare&Uc=e67k9cn.9fdxxxz&Uy =v2cjem&Ux=0 (Message edited by biker_bob on August 28, 2006) (Message edited by biker_bob on August 28, 2006) (Message edited by biker_bob on August 28, 2006) |

I was at Worth HD north yesterday getting some parts and they had a red XB12R, a CityX and two Blast in their used bike inventory. They were asking $5900 for the XB12R. |

It's that time of year again. http://www.marchofdimeskc.org/ I'll be going with a group meeting that morning at Garmin. Everybody is welcome to join. $35 to ride plus donations from friends & relatives if you can swing it. Good cause. Babies are cool. |

The headlight and handlebars are my favorite parts, along with that Indian engine. He did a pretty good job on the copper line work too. |

Rustyx1w-What I like about that bike is that it is simple yet effective, just when I think I have seen everything something like this comes along. |

Howdy fellow KC Buellers, Damn, I haven't been here in a loooong time. <grin> I'm curious if anyone trustworthy (meaning someone that’s been using the BBS for a while) lives somewhere close to Parkville MO, which is just North of downtown K.C. Maybe 8-9 miles and only approximately 10 miles from the airport. I need someone to check out a telescope for me and possibly purchase it for me. Of course I will PayPal the greenbacks to YOU directly. No telescope knowledge necessary. I will tell you what to look for. I need to jump on this ASAP if possible! Smokedaddy, I live near Parkville and I just happen to be off work these days, email me at drlovell1952@yahoo.com and we will get hooked up. I have friends in the OkieTex astronomy group and I do know a few things about telescopes although I have never been able to afford one myself. |

Anyone interested in Cassoday: I am meeting up with one other Harley rider on the south side of the Olathe Medical Center parking lot (we both work there). We are meeting @ 0730. This is an open invite. I've never been to Cassoday and would love to have someone show me where the greasy food is! I will not ride if it's raining. Other than that I'll be there at 0730. Hope to see anyone interested. Call if you have questions. Other than that, have a safe weekend. Brent 913.710.8909 |
