I know this probably has been covered, I just can't find the thread. Anyhow, what have you cg owners replaced your stock seat with? Select seats, city x seats? I wouldn't mind a higher seat 1/2-1" or the same height would be fine. I just want it to be more comfortable. I don't think I want corbin either, I've read too many "it doesn't fit like stock" stories... Thanks all- |

I have the Select seat on my 12Scg & highly reccomend it. It looks a lot thicker than the cg seat but once you sit on it it squishes down a bit & is really only about 3/4" to 1" taller & about a thousand times more comfortable.

Just to make you aware, I've read that a lot of people have had problems with the fabric separating from the foam on the Select. I decided to to with the Streetfighter. |

I think there was a bad batch. I have one of the first ones, I ordered it from Daves when it was first announced (had to sit through a 30 day lead time) & after almost 5K miles it still looks like new. Fontana_motorsports, I think you're thinking of the Streetfigher seat. I havn't seen any in real life but from pics it looks to be about the same shape as the Select seat but with no gel & no V in the passenger area. It's still available from Buell and is (from what I've heard) a great seat as well. |

You gotta learn how to ride in between the rain drops (Message edited by metalstorm on August 22, 2006) |
