Yeah JT - I want to know more about that flat black bike too! I'd be interested in the numbers its doing at the track, what class it's running in etc. Rex - I got some good White RS bodywork, but alas, no S2 stuff. Have any of you guys figured out what the heck it is about these bikes that "grabs" ya like they do? It's like a goddamned disease - Esstwo-itus or -osis or something! AL Manditory pic:

Hey guys - Jersey T & Leftcoastal - thanks! Well, here is the deal I got the bike from a great guy up in Iowa about a year and a half ago. Basically the bike was set up just like you see it now (engine / swingarm . . . ). However, I pulled the whole thing apart (except for the motor) and did a color change. The bike was used as a strip bike only - running in the AHDRA Hot Street class. Now, after finally getting everything back together I am running it on the street and will be bringing it to the track as well. So, a street/strip bike is my plan. I have ridden it on the street only a few times so far. Still working out some kinks. Boy!! It is a handful and a real kick in the pants to ride on the street. Obnoxiously loud and draws quite a bit of attention (both good and bad I'm sure - LOL). Motor is 88" - Redshift 643's - Nallin headwork - Force Pro pipe - running a Mikuni 45 now - Dyna - roller rockers...). Wheels, frame, forks, and a lot of other little parts all powdercoated gloss black - body flat black. Was going for a stealthy look - I am happy with the way it turned out. Can't wait to get kinks worked out and get it tuned correctly and get it to the track. Previous owner said the bike had run best of 10.30 and was more of a consistant 10.50's - 10.60 bike. Hope I can get those numbers with some tracktime. Take care guys!!

I finally found some S2 pictures that I've been looking for for a while now. Although it may not be everyone's cup o' tea, it is different.
For a more conventional S2, how about Craig Breedlove's S2:

That is an awesome picture of an S-2. Still, in my eye, one of the most visually stunning bikes ever made. |

Thanks Court! And I strongly agree with you and Rex!! Yes Bart, this is a repaint color-match of the original Carribean Candy Blue with OEM decals. Only catch is, the painter failed to offset the decal to the right on the tail and mistakenly centered it. I didn't bother trying to explain it to them...

Bomber, you and Jim will probably walk once clear around the garage looking for it, then somebody else will come from behind and show you where it is! rt |
