This shot caught me unawares. There's Rob, who graciously cooked breakfast for us that morning.


I this really gonna work?

We rally have to thank Mike & Shannon from Harley-Davidson of Frederick for helping us get the XBRR started with their bump starter. Given that the XBRR was still pretty tight, we were having trouble getting it started initially to heat cycle it before any track time. So Keith from Roanoke H-D (Buellrcr) suggested that we put his minibike up next to the bump started to get the rear wheel spinning. You can tell from my expression that it looked precarious. Everything worked out pretty well though : )

More to come, just getting started!

How many folks had an XBRR at Barber this time? Who were they? It sounds like Mutant Man and Walt had one. Anybody else.

I didn't see (or hear) any others, so I think Walt & ourselves were the only ones with XBRRs.

My pleasure... I'm just happy I could contribute some how. 1st time out on the track with the new bike and all. I hope to have a real camera (SLR digital) sometime in the near future so I can take some shots like Wendy and Chris have there.

Anyone know how to get some of the lap times of the race? I went to CCSracing. and saw the results but it didn't show lap times.

I'd like to find out some of the novice racers lap times.
