I did buy this helmet ... last week, will hopefully have it in a day or so .. Brazil has strict helmet laws so I think their Inmetro regulation (they listed it on their auction after my inquiries to brand, DOT approved, etc.. )will be pretty similar to our DOT standards. People thought I was strange when I bought the bowling ball from the movie Mystery Men (clear bowling ball with a skull in it) ... just wait till I'm sporting this one ! Told the wife I'd wear a helmet more often if I had one that was more me .. WINNER ! Brian - anxiously awaiting my new helmet |

Well ... I got the helmet today ... I gotta say it is a wicked looking helmet. BUT .... it is definitely not the best as far as protection .... but it is better than nothing -which is what I wear, nothing. I will wear it when I am just cruising, but at 65mph+, when I do wear my helmet at times, I will wear my HJC full face. I don't know that it was worth that kind of money, but it is too late to whine about it now- it still looks wicked ! I'll throw up some pics wearing it when I get a chance. |

HAHAHAHA .... I just went for a ride wearing it, the 'custom' lenses/shields made for it are a poor fit to say the least, but it worked. The reason for my laughter isn't the lens/shield -- it's that people were actually taking pictures while I was riding down the road !!! ... The multitude of different looks I received while wearing it ... I had to stop once or twice due to me laughing so hard !!! Oh well .. My brother took a couple pictures, will get em up soon. |

Definitely freaky! Off topic: Do you have a parts book for your M2? (looking for the shifter, footpegs and brake lever assemblies part numbers). And I thought I'd never say this but- please, at least, wear a beanie helmet-its better than nothing at all- a head injury is not as much fun as it looks (wearing a beanie, crashing at less than 35mph, almost killed me-without it I would have been)and thats more preaching than I'd really like to do! |

Sure do - Might be easier to just scan the pages for ya, lots of little parts in there. Shoot me an e-mail through the website listed in my profile, and I will send you back the scanned parts lists and diagrams. Work for you ? In regards to helmets, I'm trying - a 10 year non-helmet habit is hard to break. I'm working on it though. |

Works for me. If it wasnt for California's helmet law passage 10(?) years ago, I'd be dead. Wearing a helmet is like wearing a condom. You know whats up, but you cant feel it! |

Dude, you'll be giving hippies flashbacks all over town if you wear that thing around! I love it! |
