Thought you guys would get a kick out of my mule. This is what I started to call it after having it loaded up for a week long trip to Kentucky. Went from NJ to Mamouth caves Kentucky. All highway first couple days, 560 1st, 300 next then back roads as much as possible home. Daniel Boone National forest had some really nice turns and twisties like Tail of the Dragon. My saddle bags I have had for years and many long trips on my other bikes I used to have (77 KZ 1000, VMAX), those are two back packs ($30 total).
I even installed highway pegs on bike through the front fairing and into the exhaust mounts. |

Wow...I never thought my bike could hold so much luggage...as a woman, I am going to erase this image from my memory banks, as I would DEFINITELY overpack, knowing my 12 is capable of being a mule. |

What type of exhaust is that, or is it something not attached to the bike, just in the way? |

DrummerSS with a homemade extension http://www.boostcontroller.com/products/aluminumtubinglarge.jpg to get some sound out from under bike. It worked ok but have since removed it after Kentucky trip. Would have liked to have tried using a longer pipe extention and not cut that pipe that short but couldn't find anyone who could do a clean bend on a 18" piece of alum stock. Mieneke in Hawthorne nj flarred it for me, super nice guys there. They didn't know what to charge me so I gave them $10. |
