I can't imagine that us at LHD/B are thrilled either! Jeez, we begged and pleaded for our bike, so we could RACE it, and he gets his and he's selling it on eBay?? |

Yeah. I think this is super underhanded. Still waiting on ours to race it here. It sucks that I rolled into work in a bad mood because of this. Oh well. I would really rather see people racing these than collecting them! That is what will happen with ebay. It will be parked right next to somebody's collector RR1000 that never got raced either. |

Dang, that was a faster response time than usual for these things. Someone out there must be paying attention. Dealers who are at least going to race the bikes should get them before dealers who just want to sell them. |

Yeah, God forbid a Harley/Buell Dealer should make a profit selling a motorcycle it obtained from the Manufacturer....?????!!!! This is still America, right? I hope they shut down the auction because they sold it at a profit, not because somebody told them not to sell it. |

Cluckcluckpush: The thing is, they had to provide racer information with intent to race the bike on the application in order to purchase it (name, number, series, etc). Of course some people can't resist the idea of selling a bike like that when they know only 25 are staying stateside, but it is unfair to those who would actually like to use it for its intended purpose. I don't think BMC wanted to build a collectible, rather, a race bike. |

Buell is pretty dang specific about letting loose of race only parts and pieces. If a dealer violated their contractual agreements or as it really is, more like a hand-shake agreement, it will only mean that now for those of us needing race only parts, there will be MORE paperwork because a greedy a**hole dealer tried pulling sh*t like that on ebay. |
