It has been raining here in New Mexico the last few days. I think water may have gotten into my key ignition. The Park position doesn't work anymore, I checked the ACC fuse and it was good. If I turned the key all the way on the bike would die. I could turn the key just before on it would work. Recently I noticed the key was hot when I took it out. When I checked the ignition it was crazy hot. Today I started getting a check engine light. When I pulled the codes I got a 23 and a 32. The manual said it was the front and rear fuel injectors. The bike as ran fine, so I figure the injectors are fine. I guess my ultimate question is could the ignition situation be causing the codes to pop. Thanks in advance for any help. I have already disconnected the battery and taken the front faring off. I plan on getting a new Ignition switch on Monday. |

JJ, sounds like your on the right track. I had a similar problem with one of my S2's. Replacing the switch should cure the problem... Semper Fi !!! |
