Was wondering if anyone has put a sand paddle on their XB? I cant find anything for 17" wheel. I know it sounds crazy. the only thing I can think of doing is saving an old tire and gluing(vulcanizing?) little paddles to it. I have a 12s, but has anyone taken there uly or other xb to the dunes? |

I have had the same question. The 12x is supposed to be a sort of crossover bike so why not. I have run sand dunes my whole life, and would love to see how an x would do. I have a 17 inch paddle but it is only 3.5 wide, so don't know if you could stretch it to fit an x, but if anyone is local in MI, they are welcome to try it on the basis that I get to see it go at Silver. Think outside the box. |

I'm not trying to be a duning hero. I know its going to be a heavy pig. I just want to be able to drive up to where my relatives are camped out at, change out my wheel and be able to cruise around. |
