Hey Firebolt...I also developed a skip Sun afternoon, got the bike to Warwick just fine to see my buddy and we were about to ride with the girls and all of a sudden the damn thing would not move out of its own way, and kept stalling. turned out the plugs were shot, by the looks of em they were the original ones picked up two new ones today and put em in after work now were back in business. I guess it was fait that I overslept and didn't make it for the ride that morning. Anyhow check the plugs!!

It seems there's a "cruise nite" (for motorcycles) in Uxbridge Mass.tomorrow nite.I think i heard "Renezvouse leathers" or something or other.Anyone in? Damnut???

I haven't done a night ride all summer.I figure leaving here 'round 4:30-5:30p.Dunno,but,i could cruise up 24 to Taunton for a meeting place,and continue up 495. I'll watch the boards today

ALMOST done. Got a late start last night, got most of it back together, just need to check and maybe adjust the primary chain, tighten up the plugs (left loose so i can turn wheel easier for adj. primary) toss on the plug wires and install the intake filter set up.

i'm hoping she fires right up and runs good. i have not found any loose or gouged wires yet.

i have looked up in the fairing but saw nothing out of the norm. i may need to take it off to get a better look. i'm going to see how it runs first. should know tonight how i am.

could also be a sensor..i don't know..i'm guessing right now.

i am starting to get antsy.......

Regrets : (...i'm sorry,i have little interest in rainy riding.Didn't mean to lead anyone on.I "say what i mean" and "mean what i say".I just have trouble setting out into rain.My problem.The weather IS forecast without that threat throughout the next four or so day's and,i'm raring for a nightime ride.And am hot to ride friday night.Intrested??? Or let me know....Any day OR night this weekend.Friday included.......What th..... What Susie??? What did you say??

Well no luck with the bike. changed plugs/wires, checked for loose/bad wires under seat area and under fairing. NOTHING!

Emailed dave to try and borrow his vdsts software and will call him later today incase he don't check email often.

bottom line........I'M STILL DOWN!!!!!!

anyone up for stopping in and tossing around a few ideas are more than welcome. I'll be kicking the bike and slamming my head tonight and all weekend

well i changed the o2 sensor since sheldons had one on the shelf...ran better but not fixed. i think i have narrowed it down to the injector.

i will order one in the morning from daveS unless there is one local i can find.

my son starts football this saturday at 9:00am, so i regretfully have to decline. bike is down this weekend unless i find the part. i will travel for it if needed.

I am heading to the bike show tonight at Rondevouz(sp)leathers in uxbridge...may even fly down into cumberland after that to see some cars also if anyone is interested.

should be good turnouts with the nice weather
