Thursday! What's going on Thursday evening? Anyone going to Kimber's thing at the Vortex, or does it still exist? Sunshiny, I miss you and would like to relieve you of your handguards if you're going to be around. C'mon gang. It's less than two days away. |

kdan Yea I know what U mean It is for shure a learning process every problem that I have I learn something new. It is kind of fun as I learn more and more about my bike and how to work on it, but I just hope I don't have to learn too much too fast. |

Who did your tires? Try Kdans Idea, crazy but I could see that happening. Do you notice and real dark lines around your rotor? Are all the bolts tight on the front end? What is the tire pressure? Go from there. Badhabit, glad to hear it! I never heard back so I assumed everything was ok. |

Kdan- it is an Escort X50 w/red LEDs'. Cheaper and easier to see on the bike than the blue LED model. I have it mounted on a RAM mount. I run an earphone to my left ear to hear it until I get a wireless deal. I go nowhere without it! Cost me about $310 before shipping direct from Escort. |

Kdan- it is an Escort X50 w/red LEDs'. Cheaper and easier to see on the bike than the blue LED model. Cool Odie, thanks. I'll have to go by Best Buy and dork with some and see if I can even see the LED's. I'm colourblind as sh!t and a lotta times little red lights are all but invisible to me. Looks like it's EBAY time! http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?sofocus=bs&sbrftog=1&from=R10&satitle=e scort+x50++&sacat=-1%26catref%3DC6&sargn=-1%26saslc%3D2&sadis=200&fpos=30107&ftr t=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=&fsop=1%26fsoo%3D1&coaction=compare&copagenum=1&coen trypage=search |

Kdan- that's why I run the earphone. It was a hassle at first but once you're used to it it's fine. Like I said, eventually I'll buy a wireless set-up. If you shop Ebay for one make sure you're getting the latest model. Alot of times sellers will have a year-old model that doesn't have the latest version of software installed. After doing some research I figured I would pay a little more (very little really) and buy direct from Escort. I am ensuring I get the latest and greatest model and I won't have any warranty issues either. It is by far the best detector I have ever owned, hands down. I have wanted an Escort forever but never wanted to spend that much on one. After having it for a few days I could've kicked myself for not buying one years ago. |

Copy of post from Tbs_stunta: Posted on Friday, July 21, 2006 - 10:49 am: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A friend of mine, Zac, just got taken out by a left turner and is in the hospital. They already gave him a titanium eyesocket and I'm hoping for maybe a clear window like the Ducs and Vincents had to see the cam drive gears. Don't know if any of you knew him, but he had a BMW R1100S and several vintage scooters. If you guys can throw a little aid his way, the below link also has the paypal address, info on raffles, as well as current info. I know it would be appreciated as they just had a baby and his wife is still out on maternity leave. He had all his gear on and the report is that he's doing better. http://zacsfund.blogspot.com/ There will be a benefit for him at the Little 5 Vortex, Thur Aug 10th so if you are local please come out for that. Don't know the specifics but there are bound to be raffles and the like. Vortex anyone? |

Hey SMHD parts gawds!! Whattaya get for a set of front brake pads for an XB? Is there different Buell types? I have the Lyndal Golds on and they're getting thin, but don't think I really need 'em and the buzzing is annoying. |

Sanchez! I rescued my old beer making supplies from "the house I pay for but no longer live in". You want 'em they're yours. I have two buckets, one with a carboy lid, a Hydrometer, a capper machine thing and miscellaneous other shiznit. They're in Alpharetta. PM me and I'll tell you where exactly. Oh, and it will cost you. Bring payment in homebrew! 2 should be good. |

Kdan, we have EBC brake pads the HH sintered ones. They are $49.95 a set, which is actually cheaper than the stock Buell pads at twice the life. We keep those in stock just about all the time. We have rear pads too. Hope that helps. Smokescreen |

Kdan, sounds like a plan. Payment will be somewhat delayed as it takes 3-4 weeks to make a batch. I have one made now, but it fizzled. Or rather, it failed to fizzle. The bottles didn't carbonate, and flat beer is rather unappetizing. I was planning to go to the V, but I got bitch slapped by a cold. I prefer my helmet without snot all over the inside of it, so I'll have to pass. |
