Bought a Ulysses just four days ago and went to ride it to work this morning. Its a fifty mile commute and it was still dark when I left. Started the bike up, let her idle for a little while and took off. About a block from my house I notice the check engine light on solid. Say FACK! and go back home and hop in the car to work. Come back from work this evening and start the bike up and let her idle for a little while and no light. Any insights as to what it might be, or why it happened? Bike had fluids changed at 100 miles and its got almost 200 now. Any insight would be great, I hope its not a real issue. I am going to go for a short ride tonight to see. |

No engine light after a very spirited run of twisties with a kid on a katana 600. He commented how he could hear the exhaust from me rolling on through corners behind him and how is sounded so 'bad ass'. Haha that shit was funny. I thought the stock exhaust was pretty quiet, but then I always wear ear plugs. |

Might be an issue with the interactive exhaust valve servo. A batch came out that were faulty. No danger to you or the bike, but it will hinder optimum performance. If that is the cause of your check engine light, I believe that the fix is for your dealer to install a new servo motor. |
