Calling all Buell riders: I'm trying to get a massive group ride to the Big Kahuna Nationals @ VIR at the end of August. The idea for this ride came about at Daytona this year while at VegasBueller's Buell-B-que. We had a good number of Badwebbers attend the Daytona 200 and the idea of waiting a whole year to get together again quite frankly, sux. I don't expect many of the westward Buelligans to show (which also sux), but this is an open invitation to all Buell owners that can make it east to show our support for the Buell racing teams participating at this event. First I'd like to hear from those of you interested in helping me put together the possible meeting points and routes (Brag Chapter Officers). I'd also like to get and idea of how many will be willing to participate. Thanks all, -Ras | ||

I'm up for it. I'll be riding up from the Raleigh, NC area. I linked this thread to the C3 section, I'm sure we'll have a decent sized group from C3 that wants to ride along. | ||

I will be there. BTW, you can buy the SuperPair ticket which gets you in to both the VIR and Road Atlanta events, a parade lap at each track, parking permit, paddock access and a TShirt for $99. Pretty good deal. | ||

Ramon, Linda and I will be riding down on Friday, probably taking the day off so we can get to the track on time for the Fan Party Friday night. We could meet MD Buellers along Rt 15 somewhere (Warrenton?) then 15 to 522 south to 609 south to 360 west to the track. | ||

Yes although I do not know which specific teams are participating. Frederick Buell will be racing as far as I know although their RR's may not be ready for this event. I also expect McWilliams and crew to be present. | ||

Rasmonis - I am waiting on Court to fill us in on who is going to be there. If the XBRRs will be at VIR I will be there, if not I will be riding in the mountains next week. I can not see paying money to watch a bunch of mosquito sprayers chase each other. | ||

I've asked Court for relevant details (Buell tent, ticket prices, day of Buell race participation, etc) he has not responded as of yet. This info would be helpful talking other local Buellers into attendance. So....anyone got the skinny? NUTS | ||

Can Frederick supply a big BUELL Banner to use to mark our spot in the stands? Maybe one of the shipping crate covers with the Buell logo, they probably throw those away. I might be able to get one of those from Ft Washington, but they are easier to carry in a car.... | ||
