Aw...Poor Shiny...Somebody give him a hug! Shred - Ok, I thought Brian had said that he knew what was wrong and I hoped you had it done already. Let me know the scoop! It's not earth shattering, just annoying. It's not like I'm going to start a Buellhaters club with Buellgrrl or anything! |

Buellish, as it stands, I think this little group is going to try and meet you guys at the QT at 8 AM. My buds are coming up the night before so they won't have such a drive in the AM and be tired before we even get started. That is, at the moment, last I heard. |

B_S, nope, Kdan is wanting to meet Buellish and the gang over on hwy 575, exit 11 which is Sixes Rd and Canton Rd I think. Same place Glitch and Shred are going. Least that is the last I heard. Where are you meeting Drift? What time? In case we are running late we may try and hook up with you guys off 400 instead. Plus it maybe better for me taking that route and us just try and meet up with Buellish them at Blood Mountain. Post here on the board what you guys are going to do. We'll have a better idea Saturday afternoon once Cliff and Thingfish let us know what they are doing. |

DDFI info: http://www.sporttwin.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=1553.html That's a really interesting read for anyone interested in how the Buell computer tunes the bike based on the sensors. |

I'll be cruzing thru the top of 400 at around 9am. There is a waffle house there so if anyone wants to meet up be there and I'll stop. I will have some tag alongs that I normally don't ride with just so ya know. I don't know their skill levels. My buddy invited them. I hope to hit TWO for Breakfast or we might just eat at that waffle house. |

Hey y'all! Last night was a killer! I got off at three. Raced down Ponce de Leon against Shred. Me in my Ranger, and him in his big ol Dodge (with trailer). Not really but it was kind of fun. Went to the tag office to get my new tag. Got home put my wheels in the truck and headed out to Two Brothers Tires. Told them I was a 3%er and they knocked $10 off for mounting and balancing the tires I bought from New12r. $40 total. Got home and was putting the front wheel on, in my very hot garage (at least I have one now) and before I could get it on, the bike came off the stand. Not sure why. It fell straight down (thank goodness!) and not over. Colin was asleep taking a nap, so Cody came out to see what he could do. He found my cell phone (something I don't seem to be able to do very well) and I give Charlie a call. I was very lucky he was getting off work, and he headed my way pronto. All tis time I'm just holding the bike up, balancing it on the muffler (glad I don't have a Jardine!). While waiting for Charlie, Cody was able to put the front wheel on (sans brake). Charlie gets there in record time to help save the day. Literally dripping with sweat we get the bike put back together. Thank you Charlie! You saved the day! Thank you Cody for helping your ol man when he really needed you. Thanks to Two Brothers for saving me a buck or two. And thanks to the 3%ers that were able to make it out last night to help me forget about eventful afternoon I hope to be riding Saturday and Sunday. I want to leave out very early, before it gets hot. I may just cheat, and put the bike in the back of the truck and park a T.W.O. |

Hey Glitch, I put two big ole' eye hooks in my garage ceiling so I can attach tow straps to the bike when I am working on it. That way if it does happen to slip off my redneck engineered stand, it won't go anywhere. I mounted the eye hooks into the 2x10 supporting framework for my attic door so that I know they are as secure as can be. Hope this helps for future wrenching safety. B_S- received pipe. Thanks much! Ya'll- be careful in them thar hills this weekend. I was just getting to work today and popped a little wheelie and the front tire came down on something in the road and knocked the bars out of my right hand and when that happened I was jerked a little bit and give it gas inadvertently and almost lost it all! It sucked..... oooohhhh, the drama. |

B_S, I didn't want to mess with you while you had the PINK PANTIES on. I'm taking the sticker off the ipod. You can tell I don't work out, but I'm not taking any chances Rocky..... Hit me in the GUT I'll go down quick... Hit me anywhere else and we're on.... JK thats sucks about the ipod. I saw a pink ipod at Atlantic Station, be a good boy and maybe Santa will stop by the house. I'll tell him not to put a 3%er sticker on it or he'll get the the smack down and all the little boys and girls will be screwed this year. I can hear the song now "Santa got ran over by B_S....on his way home from...." O.k I'll stop now, I'm just being silly...or just stupid... I'm just having some fun on the WEB... |
