I thought I saw someone selling race ignitions on the board the other day, that might be the easiest way to go.

I just put a single fire ignition in my M2, I really like it.

It's a little more work than a direct replacement, not too hard but it takes a little while.

I got the coil and module for 300 new, the module fits inside the nose cone, no more "brain box," it's a simple system.

I like single fire because my bike no longer coughs, it starts easier when hot, and it feels smoother on long trips.

I have Dyna 2000 ignitions on my S-2's and have had good luck.Direct plug in and add a single fire coil and your are done. Adjustable rev-limit and timing curves. My newset is programmable with computer link and has a timing retard feature for my nitrous.
